The FMB supplier fair engineering set several records this year: according to the newsletter of the organisers were 562 exhibitors and 6.680 visitors on the exhibition grounds – with a lot of positive feedback.
The topics „innovation and digitisation“ came at the FMB fair clearly to the fore. So many companies used also the FMB to present novelties and Hans-Jürgen Alt (director VDMA NRW) gave at the FMB press conference an informative summary of the current economic situation in the NRW engineering.
We were as announced earlier from 7 until 9 November with our exhibition stand on the fair ground. We presented gripping systems for the press plant, body shop automation and plastics processing industry and we recorded many new, promissing contacts. Overall, the impressions were so positive, that we are considering a participation also next year.
From 7 to 9 november 2018 we are at the FMB – The supplier show for mechanical engineering at the exhibition centre in Bad Salzuflen.
In the exhibitor news an article with the headline „Gripping systems for the entire market – from one provider“ was published that introduces briefly our company and our portfolio.
You would like to learn more about us in a conversation?
Then meet us at the FMB 2018. We are at the exhibition centre in hall 21 at the fair booth F26 (to the hall plan). Or you can arrange on site an appointement with us (Office +49 421 24 702 0 or via e-mail) to discuss concrete aspects.
We are looking forward to busy days at the fairground!
The referees Eckhard Wache and Ulrike Heinrichs, both board of directors PRO, as well as the integration commissioner Aliz Müller assured fair games and entertainment. And Harald Rieß anchored the matches.
The tournament took practically place outside – under the big roof of the sports facility of the Uni Oldenburg. Though it rained meanwhile heavily, we could still enjoy the fresh air that spotive afternoon.
Against the teams of the Comes business consulting, the Sparkasse Emsland, Meppen and the Landessparkasse zu Oldenburg of the Raiffeisenbank Oldenburg played in our two teams:
Dennis Seel, Tim Springer, Sarah Gminder, Roman Flemming-Schneider, Axel Palluck, Christoph Witt, Andreas Friesen
Daniel Batt, Alex Kirchgesner, Matthäus Stojak, Dzemajlj Ajeti, Ibrahim Durmus, Krystian Jagiello, Nadja Estel
The both Springer squads were supported by many big and small fans and strengthened occasionally with several delicacies. In the end our team I reached successfully the third place, team II landed on fifth place and the team of the Landessparkasse zu Oldenburg won finally the soccer court charity tournament.
Many thanks to both teams as well as to all the fans and helpers, that accompanied us and ensured so a wonderful afternoon!
On 1 August five new apprentices took off into their professional future at Springer.
We are also already looking for the apprentices for the year 2019 and we are looking forward to many applications on the apprenticeships and various other vacancy notices.
Every year the apprentices at Springer get a joint project. Content, scheduling and processing steps are assisted by different colleagues depending on the focus, but otherwise responsibly driven by the apprentices.
The basic idea is to provide a detailed look behind the scenes for other teenagers before applying for an apprenticeship. A majority of the corresponding age group is searching for videos on YouTube, so the decision in favour of the video format was straightforward.
From script to planning the shooting days
First they roughly sketched out the content and later wrote precise scripts, so that they could exactly compare the offers from different camera men for the video shoot. When the shooting days were determined, the apprentices learned their texts and prepared shooting areas and requisites. Whereby occasionally now and then they had to present intermediate results.
The end results are four videos shown below.
Training as industrial business management assistant (m/w):
Training as industry mechanics (m/w):
Training as technical product designer (m/w):
Training as cutting machine operator (m/w):
We are very pleased to see that the apprentices completed the project successfully and therefore somewhat recruit themselves the next generation for our company.
Congratulations on this successful result!
